Mission Statement

The Mission of ISCTR is to provide an environment for collaboration and guidance among basic and clinical scientists, expedite scientific discoveries into clinical application, disseminate the science among the scientific community, promote research, development of guidelines for training and certification in Translational Research, influence health care policy, educate the public, and improve the well being of patients. In our initial four years of operation we have held three annual symposiums with presentations from world class experts, launched a new journal (Journal of Cardiovascular Translational Research), and involved numerous elected, public and private sector leaders and advanced public policy and regulatory issues.

5th Annual Symposium to be held in collaboration with the
American College of Cardiology Scientific Session
March 24, 2012 in Chicago

We are proud to announce that the 2012 Symposium will be held in collaboration with the American College of Cardiology, and will hold the official title: ACC.12 Spotlight Session: Translational Research Symposium Co-sponsored by the International Society for Cardiovascular Translational Research.
